ARTWORK STATEMENT:

This collaborative sculpture, like the others in our shared practice, explores the specificities of homo-romantic relationships, the boundaries of communication, and the possibility of a shared subconscious. We work with the vessel and the figure to have a hyper-verbal dialogue between ourselves and the history of sculpture and ceramics.

Artist Bio:

We met in 2013 and started collaborating with one another in 2016. We found that merging our separate art practices produced novel possibilities while also solving the issues of loneliness in the studio.
