A people divided put down the burden of their freedom. Disentangle themselves from one another. A sundered bell no longer rings over the first people’s corpses. A nation scatters to tribes, a covenant broken.

ARTIST BIO:

Trevor Lee Ewald is a San Francisco-based sculptor. His works in ceramics, bronze, and plaster are known for their complex and nuanced emotional substrate, and their naturalistic execution. He is most fulfilled when answering questions that many do not, or dare not, ask.
