ARTwork statement:

As an artist I have always been interested in incorporating sound into my work. In keeping with the theme of the Ark project, my aim in creating Escape Pod was to use the healing power of sound to create a refuge from the chaos and uncertainty of our times. In the process of realizing the work, having a long-term project to focus on, became in a sense, my own escape pod.

Oliver DiCicco: sculptor, designer, fabricator, musician.
Education: SUNY at Buffalo, electronic music, 1973. 
Owner, engineer, producer, Möbius Music recording studio, 1976–2004. Mobius Operandi music and theatrical ensemble, instrument-sculpture designer, musician, 1989–2004. Kinetic sound sculpture, large-scale sound installations and theater set design 1996 to the present.
